Welcome to our community in the mindfulness tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh. We are part of a larger community in the Pacific Northwest under guiding teacher Eileen Kiera.
We meet on many Saturdays, at the Skagit Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (SUUF) Church (500 West Section St.–next to the post office, in Mt. Vernon, WA), 9:30-11:30 AM followed by tea and cookies until noon (optional.)
PLEASE NOTE! Our other Saturdays are spent with our larger community (typically the 1st Saturdays of the month), enjoying full days of mindfulness (DOMs) at our rural retreat center. Everyone is invited (and encouraged) to join these events also. Refer to the Mountain Lamp page for more details on the center, and remember to check the side bar for monthly schedules.
We welcome people from all backgrounds and all levels of experience whether in our tradition or other traditions who have a sincere desire to practice. If you’d like a little introduction before participating, please give us a call at 360-770-5459.
